Location: Arizona. “It was a very blustery morning on the edge of our state’s natural wonder,” says Ditson. “I had been wanting to capture a winter scene here for years and finally was able to. My hands (I have Raynaud’s) exceeded their tolerance of exposure to the cold (despite gloves), so I had to go out in short segments.
