This image was taken at the Butterfly World in Pompano Beach, FL

This outspoken seagull kept making loud mating calls across from me while I was having lunch at a restaurant in the Bulgarian Black Sea town of Nessebr. I'm glad I had my camera with me. For a brief moment, I felt like a National Geographic photographer.

I took this picture while on holiday in Newport, Rhode Island in November 2019.

Taken at the Butterfly World, Pompano Beach, FL

This past January there was a very foggy morning. I went out to see what I could find to shoot in the fog. I came across these two cormorants sitting on a pipe going across the C-100 canal. I thought it was interesting that one of the birds had its wings stretched out and the other one didn't. The thick fog gave me a nice clean white background for the blackbirds. From the angle, I made the shot the pipe looked angled. I like the angle look so I left it that way.

This image was taken on the bluff above the Pacific Ocean not far from Santa Barbra, California. I like the simplicity of this image. I like the tree framing the person in the image. This was a 1/5 second exposure done using a tripod.
