As I was shooting these power poles at dusk, along came a low flying C-141 Air Force transport. I was able to catch the airplane right between the uprights. The plane is tiny, but if you look closely you can see it. It is the speck above the setting sun. Post processing was done in LrC. This was shot at f-8, 1/250, ISO 400.
This is the St. Charles Bridge in Prague as the fog rolled in around 7 a.m. and the colors disappeared. The Gothic towers and statutes are seen as silhouettes.
I mounted the bench on 2 work horses and placed them under the shade of a tree and I pointed the camera towards the very bright and sunny street. Exposed to the shaded back of the bench thus washing out all the background. Then I increased the whites and decreased the blacks to attain maximum contrast. Canon 5D MkII with a 70-200mm lens set at 73mm Exposure f 3.2 at 1/60 sec ISO 100

This was shot near Altus, Oklahoma. I was intrigued by the oddly shaped windvane. I wanted to capture the vane as well as the setting sun and the amazing sky.
