The pictures in this album are Gigapixel Panoramas (1,000 megapixels or more). Each of these images were produced by shooting 70 or more pictures with a Nikon D800, a 36 megapixel camera, mounted on a robotic positioning unit. These images were then stitched together to produce one huge image. These images may be printed 8 (or more) feet high at 300 dpi with no loss of detail. The New York at Night image was licensed by Discovery Channel for use in connection with their 2014 "Puppy Bowl" program.
