  • Judge's Critique: A lot of potential with the pretty and interesting subjects. The depth of field doesn’t seem appropriate for this image. The flowers in the foreground are in focus but the pretty trees, and buildings in the background are out of focus. The trees and buildings do create a leading line, but what are they leading to? The sky is drab and uninteresting. Were the buildings, trees, and sky necessary for the Budapest Bloom statement? Eliminate the unnecessary so the necessary can speak.
