DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS :
This photo was taken on my Phone 10 last summer on a trip to London. As we were walking across this street while while participating in a literary pub crawl the guide mentioned that this was the place J.K. Rowling used as inspiration for Diagon Alley. I took a quick snapshot of the street and carried on.
Judge's Critique:
Wonderfully exposed, colorful image. Yet, I find there is a competition of subjects: the wonderful architecture and cobble stone street, against the people, and, I regret to say, the architecture and street win. The people are almost irrelevant to this photograph, not one of them is of any interest. Image would be better used in a city-photography contest. Regret to score down such a nice image.
