- Judge's Critique: Nice expression-full image. Exposure of face a little blown out, contrast a bit high. Focus on her eye could improve. Her right hand has better focus. Should be the other way around. Comparing with other images, which have several people and although acceptable, it fits better on a portrait competition. “People” is, after all, a plural noun. Not crazy about background color, it blends too much into the skin tone. A darker background might have worked better.
