- DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : This was taken at the Miami -Dade Zoo several yeas ago. I took several pictures of the same bird but forgot about it until I was deleting files and came across it again.
- Judge's Critique: Great use of color and composition. A part of reviewing the digital image is looking at it from the perspective of printing. Look close at the lower right portion of the “crown” and you will notice an inconsistency in the background. The is an area where a portion of the yellow does not match the rest of the background. It seems the background has been added or at the very least, manipulated. For clarification, I am not saying it has been manipulated, only that is how it seems. Look at it closely and let me know what you think.
