- Judge's Critique: Image is bright to the point of being over exposed. Notice the pure white (blown out) area. The butterfly’s legs and antennae are lost in the brightness and if you look close at the legs and the bottom of the wings you will see green fringing. This fringing, or chromatic aberration can be removed in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw. The lost detail in the highlights cannot be recovered. Dropping the exposure back by two or three stops would have helped this image.
