DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS :
This fly is on a milkweed flower, blowing a bubble. (Tiny flies blow bubbles to cool off.)
I liked the bokeh effect of the milkweed flowers behind it.
Taken in our backyard using available sunlight.
ISO 800, 100 mm, f/2.8, 1/2500s - Judge's Critique: Great use of bokeh to support and frame the subject. The visual aesthetic of the out-of-focus areas is very pleasing, and the subject has good focus where needed. Also; nice touch with the matting
