Taken while watching the changing morning light progress from the mountains to the hills with the foreground forest remaining in shadow

This is an image of the C-100 canal that runs through southwest Miami-Dade County. I went for a walk early one morning in January and saw that the fog was very thick. That is unusual for Miami. I liked the eerie look to everything in the fog. The image was almost monochrome out of the camera, but I went ahead and made it soft black and white using Lrc software.
