Big Four Bridge over the Ohio
Dustin Quiel-Athanasiadis , THIRD PLACE GROUP B - SCORE 81.5 - JUDGES: Manolo Doreste: 85 - Robert Lino: 78
This is the Big Four Bridge. It was originally used as a railroad bridge over the Ohio river, connecting Louisville, KY and Jeffersonville, IN. It is now a beautifully restored, pedestrian-only bridge where people can walk, run, bike or sit on the benches to watch the peaceful river flow. I took this picture on a beautiful day in early June 2020 during the COVID lockdown and a day after the BLM protests in Louisville. There were not a lot of people around, which made for an eerie scene on a personal level, but a great situation for photography.
