John McKnight | October 13, 2022You have nailed the "Symmetry" theme with this image. It is a beautiful picture. Congratulations on seeing this image and capturing it. Using the cabin lighting controls to enhance this image was a great idea. Well done.Sunset Airplane Cabin by Dustin Quiel-Athansiadis Sunset Airplane Cabin by Dustin Quiel-AthansiadisSunset Airplane Cabin by Dustin Quiel-Athansiadis

Bilateral symmetry. A Postman butterfly lying on some leaves taken via zoom on a Nikon D5600. The wings are symmetrical. The thorax of the butterfly has a design that resembles a bearded face. Once you see it, it stays with you. Both wings and veins on each side are the same except for some wear and tear. Shot at Butterfly World. It has been cropped, with saturation and vibrance enhanced.

John McKnight | October 13, 2022This is a very interesting capture. There are not many people who have access to be able to capture this type of image. The lighting is interesting. I am eager to find out how you were able to do the lighting. Great shot!CFM 56 Engine by Dustin Quiel-Athansiadis CFM 56 Engine by Dustin Quiel-AthansiadisCFM 56 Engine by Dustin Quiel-Athansiadis

I was at the optometrist office for an eye checkup when I saw this circular pattern on a testing machine. The machine was for doing some type of eye exam. The circles were about 8 inches in diameter. I find this image a bit hypnotic. I find I don't like looking at it for very long. But for a short glance, I thought it had impact.

Radial symmetry. The rattan arrangement leads to a central point at the top of the ceiling. This is the ceiling of a bird’s nest lounge bed. This was one of several bordering the pool at the Four Seasons in Orlando in 2018. Between convention meetings I came across this lounger to rest, and thought it was a good photo shoot looking up at the rattan work. It has been cropped, with saturation and vibrance enhanced. You can turn it clockwise for slightly different perspectives.
