DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS :
This picture was taking in the fall in NC, the rich texture of the different items drew my attention,
- Judge's Critique: This has the potential to be a very high-scoring image. The issue that I had was that at the eye tends to wander a bit too much. For example, if the photographer had simply cropped of the top part so as to make the image a square, it has much more impact. Try holding your hand over the top portion of this image to see what I am thinking. I have to judge and score based on what is here, so that is why I pulled the score down a bit.
