DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS :
This is a wooden puzzle which is about 8 inches across. One has to locate the secret lynchpin to be able to disassemble the pieces. I was intrigued by the geometric shape of the puzzle and the pieces. The puzzle was placed a woven placemat and then shot in full sunlight. I wanted to get the full shadow in the image. Post processing was done in Lightroom, and a slight vignette was added.
- Judge's Critique: This is an intriguing image. Actually the texture theme is shown not only in the puzzle, but also in the mat. It would be difficult to improve on this image.
