  • Judge's Critique: This is a nice idea but unfortunately is needs some technical improvement.  It is nicely composed and nicely lit.  However the lack of sharpness in a large part of the image brings down the score.  When shooting texture, sharpness is critical in an image like this.  Yes, at times depth-of-field can be creative, but in this case total sharpness is necessary.
