- DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : This image was taken at the Cloud Forest exhibit at Zoo Miami on 10/15/2019. It appears that this Eyelash Viper has just had a mouse for breakfast judging by the large bulge in his body. The setting were: 1/60, 35mm, f 2.8, ISO 320.
- Judge's Critique: Beautiful combination of composition and lighting. The colors are striking and the backdrop is perfectly out-of-focus. Normally poisonous snakes are behind glasses which create an extra challenge for photographers. If that’s the case here, excellent job in being able to avoid any reflections.
