- Judge's Critique: Image has a horizontal orientation and the fern in the foreground seems to be the subject and flows horizontally and diagonally. Depth of field seems to include the entire foreground fern. The background is out of focus but retains detail. The fern appears to be backlit. The vertical lines of the background are brighter than the subject and have areas of lost tonalities. Image does not have a noticeable vignette.
