- DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : This plant was in my neighbor's yard. Neither he nor I know the name of the plant. The plant has red leaves. Maybe you can tell me the name of the plant. I got down low and shot up so there would only be sky and clouds behind the leaf. I thought that gave the picture some simplicity so the focus would be on the bright red color and the smooth flowing line of the leaf. I shot right at sunrise so the lighting would be favorable. The leaf reminds me of a graceful water fowl. I processed the image in LRc.
