A Soaked Anhinga

A Soaked Anhinga
  • Contest: BIRDS
  • Submitted by: David Matos
  • DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : Shot on 4/3/22 in the Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary with a Nikon D7500 and 150-600 mm lens, handheld with manual settings of f/8, 1/2000, ISO 6400, & 300 mm. (This anhinga had been fishing underwater, occasionally poking her head out like a periscope; it took a while for her to finally hop out onto this branch and spread her wings to dry off. The enormous alligator in the pond seemed totally oblivious.)
