  • DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : This was sort of a last minute effort to come up with something creative for the Wheels contest. I set our bicycles in front of our garage door and began to try different setups. I did not like the garage door for a backdrop so I used an old white blanket for the backdrop. Weeks before I had envisioned having the two front tires just touching each other with the rims of the tire exiting the image at each of the four corners to give the image symmetry. Then I decided to rotate the tires image 90 degree so that it appears that they are one on top of the other which I liked better than horizontal. I did a black and white conversion since the image was almost monochrome straight out of the camera. Other adjustments were made in LRC. The frame was made in PS.
