- DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : While entering Fairchild Gardens, I noticed the bicycle rack outside and the sun seemed to be casting some good light on the tire and rack. I had been thinking about looking for an image for the Circles theme. Even though the circles are not complete, I really like the feeling of the image and cropped the raw file and edited it in Adobe camera raw and some expose and contrast in Photoshop.
- Judge's Critique: Circular Cycle: Yes, there is a circle in the photograph, but the primary elements are linear (wheels spokes and bike rack) and compete for attention. You have met the challenge, but the image is lacking a defining statement or emotional impact
