- Judge's Critique: Can You Hear Me Now: Good action capture with an appropriate composition. The front ground squirrel is in sharp focus, and a change in aperture could have made the back critter in focus too. A shallow depth of field is a creative choice but may not be the best option for two animals in close proximity. Compare the side-by-side visual critique. Did the post-processing to open the eye of the front animal and adding a vignette improve the image?
