DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS :
This image was taken at the Railroad Museum in Miami. Many old trains are sold for scraps but some locomotives, passenger cars, and boxcars find their way to museums and graveyards as their ultimate destination. That is where they rust, decay, and get dressed-up and camouflaged by nature.
This image is a blend of 5 photos, using On1 software. I wanted to bring up details in the highlights and shadows, trying to make it look as natural as possible avoiding the obvious HDR look. I’ve added some additional contrast, a little burning on the sky, a touch of vibrance and a subtle vignette as a final touch.
It might not be the greatest photo ever taken, I, however, like the result and the story behind it.
