DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS :
When I thought about the metal theme I thought of tools. I thought this very solid vice would epitomize metal since it is solid steel. I did several setups with the vice by itself, and then I started adding various pieces of fruit to the shots to a add another element of interest. I thought the juxtaposition of a banana and a vice was thinking outside the box. For lighting I was just using the window light coming in from the north side of the house. F-2.8, 1/160, ISO 250.

Judge's Critique:
Love the whimsical nature of this image. I like the simplicity of color. the use of red and yellow and having the yellow repeated on the vice really strengthens this image
