DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS :
Photographed at the Everglade's Loop Road. Shot with Fuji's Vivid profile.
Five bracketed shots were taken at 1 stop intervals with a 10-24mm lens.
Shutter speeds from 1/60 to 1/1000.
Merged and converted with On1, some edits using contrast, vibrance, blacks, highlights, slight vignetting, and a little burning in the sky with the gradient tool.
In addition, DxO ViewPoint software for distortion corrections. - Judge's Critique: Great skies, good composition, and good exposure. The image, however, is missing a strong compositional element; subject; foreground anchor; anomaly…what ever you want to call it, it feels like something is missing. The image is good as it stands, but this judge feels it could be stronger with an element used to anchor the image.
