  • DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : The step well has 3500 stairs that go as deep as 20 meters into the well, is the deeper step well in India. Dated from the 8th century was dedicated to the Goddess of Joy and Happiness and was built to serve as a source of water. This picture was taken after a long day of traveling from Rajasthan to Jaipur.

The people in the upper left area of the image don’t do anything to help the image. So much more could have could have been done to emphasize the steps and diagonal lines.
