- DESCRIPTION AND SETTINGS : This image was taken with a Nikon D850 w/Nikon 28-300 mm lens @100 mm. Camera settings: f/6.3 1/400 ISO 64. Image was shot through a Lensball. The Lensball normally inverts the image due to the optical properties, so it fit with the upside down world that I wanted to portray.
- Judge's Critique: Image has a square crop, which is appropriate for the subject. Title emphasizes the photographers artistic statement. There is a hot spot on the crystal ball which could not be avoided and I don’t believe hurts the image. However, the hot spots on the hand and fingers could have, through underexposing or processing. This is a simple image with a strong statement.
