A walkaround lens with a decent zoom range, reasonable aperture, good image quality, and an affordable price is something of a unicorn for a lot of photographers. The Tamron 35-150mm f/2.8-4 Di VC OSD lens seems to check all those boxes, making it one of the most intriguing lenses I have seen in a few years.
