In our October/November 2021 issue of Outdoor Photographer on print and digital newsstands now, we feature a gorgeous portfolio of Kristi Odom’s black-and-white wildlife photography. 

We thought it would be fungi to share a remarkable mushroom timelapse that Odom created. In this short video, you’ll witness the growth of several unique mushroom types.

“One thing I learned over the last couple of years,” Odom tells us about the video, “is that you don’t have to go far to marvel at nature. This journey led me into creating art from home, including growing my own mushrooms and capturing it on my Nikon Z 7II using its interval timing setting.”
