Exploring The Outer Banks With The Fujifilm GFX 100

Mirrorless medium format cameras like the Hasselblad X1D II and Fujifilm’s GFX series offer landscape photographers the stunning image quality of a medium format sensor in bodies that are relatively compact, field-ready and easy to handle.

Dave Pardue at our network site Imaging Resource took the Fujifilm GFX 100 to the Outer Banks of North Carolina back in January to give it a hands-on test. Pardue found a lot to like about the camera, which features 100-megapixel resolution and in-body image stabilization—the first medium format camera to offer this. “There’s really nothing like the GFX 100 anywhere near this price,” Pardue concludes.

Imaging Resource gave the Fujifilm GFX 100 a rating of 4.5 out of 5.0 in its review. Check out the review on the Imaging Resource website for an in-depth discussion of the camera’s features plus a hands-on walkthrough video.
