dPS Weekly Photo Challenge – Burnt

Here’s a potentially interesting theme for week two of our weekly photographic challenges! I was thinking back to Christmas ‘pre-Covid’ and the bushfires that we had here in Australia. Actually, my little brother stayed yesterday and we were talking about the amazing massive gum trees that were still burnt, black and charred, along the drive around the coast between Sydney and Melbourne, and I was looking through some old drone footage of mine and ‘burnt’ popped into my head for a theme. (So there you have it, that’s how I come up with themes!)

Use the hashtags #dPSWeeklyChallenge and #dPSBurntPhoto in your post here in the comments or on your social media (and tag us, we like that)

Now, the hashtag above refers to ‘Burnt Photo’ so yes, you can get creative and burn a photo for a cool effect (don’t burn yourselves!)

Looking forward to seeing how you interpret this challenge!

Have a lovely week, friends!

Simon
