The post dPS Weekly Challenge – Wheels or Doors appeared first on Digital Photography School. It was authored by Sime. There was this silly thing going around the interwebs a few weeks back “Are there more wheels or doors” and look, we don’t rightly know (or care for the most part, I guess) BUT I did notice that I do enjoy photographing wheels and doors and so, I thought it might be fun to mix it up and call a “Wheels or Doors” challenge this week! You can do either, both or both in the same shot – tricky! Photo By Craig Bill Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Sunquest” by Craig Bill. Location: Arizona. “This time I wanted to get the sun,” says Bill. “Over the past few trips to this Arizona slot canyon location, I was successful at capturing several great shots of Antelope Canyon. After my first couple shots, I wanted to change up the perspective some. For instance, I have shots that showed the popular rays of light that penetrate the canyon during high sun hours and shots that show only the wall colors with no sky. Both of these types of images are the most familiar of the slot canyons in this area. But I wanted different images this time around. I decided that I...

If you’re printing a multi-photo layout from Lightroom Classic (there’s one below, for example), I would encourage you to turn on “Draft Mode Printing” (as seen above) to have your print come out of the printer much faster (like, ridiculously faster). Here’s why: when you have 20 or 30 photos in one print like this, even though those images are really small (maybe just 2″ wide or less each), all 20 or 30 high-resolution images first have to download fully into your printer before the print makes its way out of your printer. That’s why it takes so long for them to print. But when you go to the Print Job panel in Lightroom Classic and turn on “Draft Mode Printing” (shown above)...
