I took this photo while wandering through the 12th century medieval castle town of Monemvasia in the southern mainland of Greece. This was on an overcast, windy November day. The yellow hose adds interest to the brick and stone patterns and textures of the alleyway.

I took this photo over a decade ago during my visit to the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. This is one of the marvels of architecture in the world. I took this photo with my camera set to full auto, as I was just getting started in photography and had never received instruction on manual settings. I was only aware of the rule of thirds for composition at the time. I shot this on RAW with the understanding that some day, I would improve my skills to the point where I could edit the photo to make it even better.

This is a photo of part of Bryce Canyon at an elevation of about 8300'. Hoodoos are formed by an erosion of soft rock and form a multitude of patterns.
Taken with a Nikon D3400 camera, using a 18-55 mm lens. Taken indoors, with natural daylight coming in through the window.
Limpkins are usually shy birds and difficult to approach. However some have adjusted to living in lakes and shallow waters in nearby parks and canals. This was taken on a Canon mirrorless camera with a 100-400 lens.

This was one of about 100 setups I did in my yard. I tried various combinations of fruit and vegetables. I also tried various positions and patters for the fruit. I used a table cloth laid on a card table for the background. I tried shooting in both bright sunlight and shade. I did minimal spot removal in Photoshop and color adjustments and cropping in Lightroom Classic.

This is the view of the inside of a spiral staircase while looking up. This was taken at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. I shot about 15 different views of this same subject. I have enter some other frames in previous PC. Each one gives a unique perspective on the same subject. I thought this image portrayed the theme of patterns very well. I had to hold my camera out between the bars to get this view. I was shooting blind since I could not see the viewfinder with the camera positioned out between these bars at arms length. I used the "Black & White Punch" preset to process this picture in Lightroom Classic
