Although not quite as bad as fitting a square peg into a round hole, getting your images into a standard-sized frame takes some thought. Inspired and motivated by Ibis Hillencamp, who (around here) needs no introduction, I wrote an article on the subject for our Bee Happy Graphics blog.
Other recent articles you might be interested in include one with thoughts on using keywords to catalog your pictures in Lightroom (click here) and another rebutting art judges' comments on photographers' use of canvas (here).
I know I promised some thoughts on the way we promote people from Group B to A; it has been a hectic winter for me, but I have not forgotten and hope to have something on that (maybe with fresh material) by the end of the summer. And later, after seeing how this new digital competition goes, I may have comments on that and the role of our club. And for Bee Happy Graphics, I've made a few other promises also. Stay tuned.
As is always the case, I hope these discussions inspire you and I encourage your comments.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream.
